Chrysalis is a company that provides support services for at-risk adults and/or juveniles with intellectual disabilities and medical issues.The Employment Coach will provide specialized employment services, supervision, and training to individuals supported by Chrysalis.The position requires the ability to work in stress-filled and safety-sensitive environments, make crucial decisions, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities
• Communicate effectively with the individual's team and employer.• Ensure proper oversight of individuals and their worksite schedules.• Apply coaching techniques that promote individual independence.• Build professional relationships with employers.• Teach individuals daily living skills related to the job.• Create opportunities for people to increase their quality of life at work.• Support individuals' choices and implement Person Centered Plans and goals.• Complete necessary administrative tasks and documentation.• Support problem-solving processes by coaching employers and individuals.• Perform other assigned duties or projects.
Requirements
• Minimum age of 18.• Pass a criminal background check.• Be eligible to drive according to Chrysalis policy.• Ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English.• High school diploma or GED.• Certified Customized Employment Specialist through the Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators.• Certified as an Employment Specialist.• Complete annual CPR, First Aid, OSHA, and SOAR training.• Complete annual Human Rights, Abuse Neglect, Maltreatment, and Exploitation Training.• Obtain and maintain Food Handler's Permit.• Complete T.B. test.• Complete any other required training assigned by Chrysalis.
