SUBSTITUTIONS:
1. An associate's degree in information technology will substitute for the baccalaureate degree.
2. Two years of experience or training in information technology will substitute for the baccalaureate degree.
Candidates without a baccalaureate degree may combine experience or training in information technology and college credit to substitute for the required baccalaureate degree as follows:
30 to 59 semester hours credit will substitute for six months of experience or training in information technology towards the baccalaureate degree.

Installs, configures, and maintains hardware and software integral to the enterprise consumer communications production environment. Follows documented procedures to perform basic hardware and software troubleshooting steps.
Assists in identifying, researching, and resolving enterprise consumer communications software and hardware problems, consulting frequently with other technical staff or with supervisor.
Performs assigned tasks of increasing complexity supporting the installation, operation, and maintenance of enterprise consumer communications software packages.
