Responsibilities
• Leads qualitative and quantitative research to inform policy decisions by DFS• Leads policy analysis projects and makes recommendations for DFS action• Oversees the creation of policy and outreach documents• Represents the Innovation Policy Unit in engagement with other DFS business units• Plans, manages, and participates in meetings and discussions relevant to financial-services policy-making• Works on other projects as needed within and outside the division• Maintains awareness of news and information sources relevant to financial policy analysis• Other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field• Seven years of financial services experience with regulated entities or government regulatory entities• Two years of managerial experience• Knowledge of State, federal, and/or international financial services laws• Experience in policy analysis and development• Strong communication and presentation skills• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
