Eden Brothers is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This role will oversee various HR functions, including benefits administration, FMLA practices, and employee relations, while also managing the daily operations of the HR department. Responsibilities include hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of HR policies and procedures.

Responsibilities What you will be doing :
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks. Ensure compliance with FMLA regulations and assist employees with FMLA-related inquiries and requests. Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions. Conduct investigations into employee complaints or concerns and recommend appropriate actions. Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants. Facilitate onboarding and orientation of new employees. Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including conducting exit interviews. Maintain accurate HR records and files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal requirements. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters. Stay updated on relevant HR laws and regulations and make recommendations for policy changes as needed. Perform tasks related to payroll. Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments, including safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and certifications. Implement new hire orientation and employee recognition programs. Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex matters as needed. Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, reviewing policies and practices accordingly. Stay informed about trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in HR, talent management, and employment law. Perform other duties as assigned. What you bring to the table: Strong knowledge of benefits administration, including health insurance and retirement plans, coupled with familiarity with FMLA regulations and managing FMLA requests. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, along with excellent negotiation and conflict resolution abilities. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion, demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, and make independent, sound decisions. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Google Drive, Asana, and Slack, with HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) considered a plus. Solid understanding of employment laws and regulations, coupled with excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines effectively. Ability to prioritize tasks, delegate when necessary, and maintain professionalism and integrity throughout all HR functions. Proficient with HRIS and talent management systems or the capability to quickly learn and adapt to organizational platforms. Qualifications Associates degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, Bachelor s Degree preferred. 3-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist , ideally in a dynamic environment with at least 100 employees. SHRM-CP a plus. Experience administering FMLA , filing EEO reports , and other Compliance regulation programs for large employers. Requirements
