(Contingent upon available funding): 17.00 - 25.55, Hourly Work Schedule: usually M-F, 8-5 Faculty Appt Period: Job Summary: Create effective, professional graphics, illustrations, and 2D/3D video animations, edits video, designs web pages, and works as part of a team on a project by project basis. Works with faculty and staff in editorial and layout of various publications as to the most effective way to visually communicate stated objectives.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs to operate equipment and printing devices. Continual use of computer. Special Instructions to Applicants Please attach a resume. Education & Experience Position Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:
High School/GED and five years of related experience, OR two years of post secondary education and two years of related experience, OR bachelor's degree in Computer graphics, graphic design, or related field and one year of related experience. Advanced skills with Macintosh computers in creating graphics, publications, illustrations, and designs. Must be proficient with Adobe CS software, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe After Effects. Show talent and knowledge in illustration and image creation, layout, typography, and printing. Skill and ability in multicolor layout and design. Ability to work well in stressful situations and under deadlines. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs to operate equipment and operate printing devices.
