The fuel
pricing analyst is responsible for optimizing the profitability of retail fuel
sales through the development of effective pricing strategies,
comprehensive data analytics and monitoring supply and demand trends.
They will work to achieve targeted performance metrics with a strong sense of
urgency, initiative, and drive.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Manage day to day retail fuel pricing utilizing our pricing software and various survey methods. Optimize the profitability of fuel sales through daily site management and monitoring of market conditions. Develop and execute pricing strategies based on various internal and external factors. Monitor pricing strategies and tactics of competitors and provide input on relevant sales, margin and market share impacts. Engage with other departments to provide insight into market level performance and forecasts. Conduct tactical analysis using large data sets to better understand performance trends, mitigate risks and identify threats. Ensure and regularly update fuel supply costs in pricing system. Track strategy initiatives, evaluate KPI's & document successes. Effectively communicate with store, field personnel and management on a daily basis. Oversee data integrity of the fuel pricing systems. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Marketing, Business or related field. Preferred experience within the petroleum industry. Preferred knowledge and experience of petroleum pricing, product supply and distribution, refining or trading. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with others at all levels within and outside of the organization. Ability to recommend and implement strategic courses of action relative to marketing. Strong analytical skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PPT, Outlook, etc.) Tableau, Microsoft PowerBI knowledge a plus. Working environment and physical requirements: ·
Prolonged periods
of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift
15 pounds at times.
Travel: Must be able
to travel up to 80%.
