Front Desk Agent

Front Desk Agents check guests in and out of hotels, motels, and resorts. This may include verifying guests' registration information, processing payments, issuing room keys, and directing guests to rooms.ResponsibilitiesReceiving accommodation reservations from visitorsTaking the details of all arriving guests including payment informationAllocating rooms to all guestsProviding information to guests about the procedures, policies, and facilities of the hotelProviding the guest with the necessary tourism informationIssuing receipts to the guestsEnsuring the safety and security of all guestsMaintain all guest reservations in accordance with credit card security requirementsBalance and properly account for all transactions during shift.Document any necessary minor repairs and/or replacements of room furniture, fixtures, and equipment to include television sets, light fixtures, and follow through with proper departmentSmile, acknowledge, and greet guests while in guest rooms, front of the house, or any other area of the hotel.Respond to guest's requests for immediate repairs.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentMust have a basic working knowledge of a computer including word and be able to handle multiple tasks at one timeMust have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with many types of personalitiesMust display very good organization and time management skillsMust be able to frequently kneel, reach, crawl, and twist torso as needed to accomplish required tasksDistinctive Hospitality Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
