Service Bdc Representative

BMW of North Haven is looking to add to our service department team, with the addition of a Service BDC Representative. The person in this position must be driven, goal oriented and focused on proactively out reaching to our service customer base. Their main focus is to set future service appointments and fill our service schedule on a daily basis. This person will be using our internal customer lists to call our customers and let them know which services they are due for. Depending on the candidates work ethic, the right person for this position can excel and collect commission for strong performances.Throughout their exchange with customers, the Service BDC Representative will answer questions and assist the customer wherever possible to ensure they receive a high-end, luxury service consultation.Essential FunctionsData mines tele-service lists and makes outbound phone calls to service customersInforms service customers on their needed services and schedules their next appointmentAnswers and routes calls, takes messages, transfers to voicemail providing customer service to callersProvides exceptional customer service assistance to our service customersData entryOrdering parts, follow up calls, confirmation callsUnderstanding customers individual emergencies and using tools and skills to efficiently accommodate different customer situationsMaintains electronic and manual filing systemsCoordinating transportation for clientsCheck vehicle's history and understanding warranty guidelinesSetting up estimates and looking up labor quotes and timesFollows attendance and punctuality standards and adheres to timekeeping standards; Employees are required to record the beginning and end times of any shift, break or departure from work for personal reasonsFollows the Code of Business Ethics and ConductUnderstands and follow all work rules and procedures and follows lawful directions from SupervisorsUpholds the company's non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreementsMaintains a professional appearance in accordance with company policyMaintains the professional appearance of assigned work area for self and subordinatesAttends pertinent trainingAttends company meetings as requiredOther duties as assigned
