Position Overview:
As a Field Education Specialist (FES) in our Master of Social Work program, you'll play a vital role in supporting students' field practicum requirements and facilitating their professional growth. Your responsibilities will include administrative support, collaboration with students and agencies, data management, and fostering a culture of dialogue and excellence.
Primary Responsibilities:
Review student eligibility for field education based on university guidelines.
Collaborate with the Field Education Coordinator to identify potential placement sites in students' communities.
Maintain accurate information in Salesforce and Tevera, collaborating with agencies as needed.
Liaise with agencies to secure student placement opportunities on a semester basis.
Assist in developing affiliation agreements with partner agencies.
Monitor student insurance compliance with university requirements.
Serve as the lead for Tevera support and document coordination.
Maintain electronic documentation for field education verification.
Cultivate collaborative relationships with students, faculty, and field agencies.
Participate in team meetings and assist in problem-solving efforts.
Develop partnerships within and outside the organization to achieve goals.
Conduct data management and perform administrative duties supporting the Field Office.
Stay informed about field education policies and provide accurate information to stakeholders.
Assist with webinars, orientations, and training sessions as needed.
Act as the initial point of contact for field education inquiries from students, agencies, and community members.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree required.
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Proficiency in web-based documentation and record-keeping.
Ability to build rapport with professionals using web-based technology.
Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and database packages.
Excellent communication skills, including web-based conferencing.
