Teledyne Imaging Sensors is an integral member of the new Digital Imaging Segment of Teledyne Technologies. Imaging Sensors provides advanced imaging solutions for a variety of customers, including the DoD, NASA, prime system integrators, and commercial customers. In the civilian space arena, Teledyne sensors are the most advanced sensors on board the Hubble space telescope, and they are also found on board the majority of NASA space probes and ground based telescopes. In the DoD arena, Teledyne sensors are integrated into several major systems for persistent surveillance, chemical detection, and target identification, among others.
Position Summary and Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Experience in equipment maintenance and repair in a cleanroom environment particularly for semiconductor process tools. This includes troubleshooting equipment issues, preventive maintenance, perform emergency repairs and scheduling workload. Additional responsibilities are processing supports by running process tools.
Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assist to maintain equipment in cleanroom with a goal to continuously reduce downtime
Interacts with facilities, vendors and suppliers to reduce downtime of production equipment
Continuously obtains knowledge of fabrication equipment to maintain uptime
Assist to perform electronic troubleshooting and reads/understands electrical schematics
Assists in purchasing and qualification of new capital equipment
Composes TME documentation and maintains an inventory location and control system of spare parts for each system
Researches and purchases equipment parts
Operate process tools to support processing line
Works with Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for data recording, tracking and reporting of data
Qualifications
Qualifications & Competencies
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following qualifications and competencies:
Knowledge of vacuum technology operations, service and repair
Ability to troubleshoot and maintain equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to operate process equipment to support production processing
Ability to exercise a considerable amount of independent judgment
Ability to effectively communicate with outside vendors, suppliers and other department members
Computer proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
Displays exemplary ethics and business conduct and performs work cognizant of safe work practices
Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma with minimum 5 years of experience or Associate’s degree with minimum of 3 years experiences in Semiconductor Equipment and tool operations.
