In this position your focus will be supporting the operations personnel in conducting daily processes, data review, assists staff in the operation and maintenance of equipment, instrumentation, material preparation and overall care in the laboratory/vivarium environment.What You'll Do HereMaintains a safe, clean and orderly laboratory environment.Assists with labeling and preparation of materials.Prepares dose and bleed carts for applicable team.Operates and maintains equipment.Ordering of warehouse supplies and data entry to laboratory inventory records.Ensures proper documentation and labeling of laboratory reagents.Documentation and data review practices in compliance with GLP regulations.Assists Research Associates and Supervisors in study preparation and conduct.Prepares specimens for shipments.Prepares specimens for archive.What You'll Need to SucceedHigh school diploma or GED required; undergraduate work in Biology or related sciences preferred.0 – 6 months experience working in a research or laboratory settingBasic computer software skills required.Ability to read and interpret documents such as SOPs, safety rules, software manuals, and study documents.Ability to work overtime, holidays, weekends, and evening hours as neededHandles and disposes biological and/or chemical substances and wastes in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.Wears appropriate PPE in accordance with policies and procedures. PPE may include but is not limited to: N-95 respirator, face mask, safety glasses, goggles, face shield, gloves, lab coat, scrubs, shoe covers, and hair bouffantMust be able to lift between 26 to 50 lbs.What We Offer The pay range estimated for this position is $19.50 (per hour rates or annually).
