Environmental Services Aide I - Part-Time

Vernon Memorial Healthcare is hiring a part-time Environmental Services Aide to uphold high standards of care by maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Regular assignments include general cleaning of patient rooms, offices, common areas and bathrooms throughout the facility. Daily tasks may include mopping and vacuuming floors; cleaning light fixtures, door handles, and windows; washing walls and baseboards; and ensuring supplies such as soap, toilet tissue, and paper towels are stocked for patient and co-worker use. The Environmental Services Aide plays a key role in daily operations and making positive improvements within VMH.
Hours for the part-time Environmental Services Aide are primarily evening shifts (3:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.), 5 days per week with rotating weekends and holidays. Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience strongly preferred, but hands-on training and a thorough orientation period offered to those new to the field.
