Job Description SummaryJob DescriptionEssential ResponsibilitiesReads and lays out diagram for electrical installations according to wiring specifications. AC/DCMounts serial plates, CT plates, warning and caution tags, and identification tagsCuts, strips, bends, and forms wire cable, conduit pope, and tubing used to connect circuits and subassembliesShrink labels for all wiresConnects color-coded wires, according to CT drawing specificationsTest and adjusts electrical assembliesDiscusses errors in diagrams or production order with supervisor or engineer to clarify assembly problemsPerforms assembly functions in accordance with Quality Control Procedures to ensure the output will meet QC and customer standardsFollows ISO 9000 proceduresInspects own work to ensure that each breaker is properly wired, vacuumed and ready for installationMaintains accurate labor, time, and production recordsPerforms other related duties as assignedCleans work area at the end of the shiftMay preform other duties as neededRequired QualificationsHigh School diploma or general education degree (GED) and/or equivalent work experienceAdditional InformationGE offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
