The People Team works in partnership with leaders and team members across the business to build the operational foundations, organizational infrastructure and cultural capacity to fuel vibrancy and velocity at FSQ. The Director, People Business Partner will be a critical catalyst in this journey, working closely with our Sales, Customer Success, Business Development, Marketing and G&A teams and their Executives to partner on all people related initiatives.The ideal candidate for this role is a deeply strategic people leader with strong communication skills, business acumen, and the agility to lead in a fast-paced and innovative environment. You'll be a trusted advisor to your Executive partners and their teams on all things people related, working across all critical organizational and people related opportunities and challenges to unlock a culture of growth. In this role, you'llServe as a trusted business partner and coach to senior leaders to help align business objectives with people practices and develop key leadership talentSpearhead and champion critical People Team initiatives including talent management, assessment, performance, compensation, training, and culture initiatives Support Executives and Managers in cultivating a Culture of Growth at FSQ: provide day-to-day performance management guidance to management including; coaching, counseling, career development Manage a team of two supporting the business partnerships functionTurn people analytics + data into insights that drive concrete actions and initiatives for the teams you support.Grow and maintain adoption and engagement of company programs and benefits across your team's employee populationBuild trust with employees across all layers of your teams in order to be an effective listener, coach and problem solver of people issues, while providing feedback to executives concerning morale, motivation and risk issuesPartner with the recruiting team and Executives on talent strategy to ensure the team is equipped with the right talent to deliver on strategic prioritiesWork with People team to scale our principles, practices and processes as we grow across multiple offices and locations globally What you'll need10+ years experience as a People / HR business partner in roles of increasing complexity and scope, partnering directly with senior leadersExpertise in program management, organizational design and effectiveness, building high performing teams, navigating complex employee relations, and scaling an org with high growthAt least 4+ years directly managing a team of HRBP professionalsChange management expertise and experience managing and implementing  complex multi stakeholder initiativesSuccessful past partnerships with Marketing/GTM/G&A teams is a mustExperience working in a start-up environment or in the tech spaceProven experience in organizational development, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and employment law and complianceAbility to use data to drive strategic business decisions and develop action plans Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills (specifically internal comms) and ability to coach and build rapport with a diverse workforce across multiple locationsBenefits and PerksFlexible PTO- rest and recharge when you need it!Industry Leading Healthcare- comprehensive and competitive health, vision, dental, life insuranceSavings and Investments- 401(k) with company matchEquipment Setup- you will receive all necessary hardware for your job functionProfessional Development- annual learning stipend for your career development goalsFamily Planning and Fertility Programs- programs via Carrot Employee Resource Groups- to help you stay connectedHybrid Work Schedulefor in-person collaboration on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays beginning April 1, 2024. For roles considered remote, this will not apply.At Foursquare, we are committed to providing competitive pay and benefits that are in line with industry and market standards.  Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, and specific office location.The annual total cash compensation range is$165,000 - $195,000,howeveractual salaries can vary based on a candidate's qualifications, skills and competencies, as well as location. Salary is just one component of Foursquare's total compensation package, which includes restricted stock units, multiple health insurance options, and a wide range of benefits!Things to know…Foursquare is proud to foster an inclusive environment that is free from discrimination.
