The CMO network manages core administrative responsibilities, including human resources, finance, information technology, facilities, student recruitment, and marketing for our schools. We serve 3,000 K-8 grade scholars across ten schools and employ over 450 staff members.

OPPORTUNITY The Director of Scholar Experience is charged with creating vibrant school cultures that support bold student achievement outcomes as well as the cultivation of future leaders in our communities. Reporting to the Managing Director of Culture, this person will collaborate with other network leaders to train and develop leaders across the organization to actualize our school culture vision. The ideal candidate leads through a strong commitment to diversity and inclusiveness, knows how to invest leaders in a bold school culture vision, and can design and facilitate training that builds critical mindsets and tangible skill sets so that schools can implement that vision with a high level of success. Create structures to ensure strong building-wide alignment culture practices, as well as key network SEL initiatives that drive outcomes for scholars
Create the vision for scholar culture across the network in support of a High Structure, High Support philosophy, and building life-altering relationships with scholars
Develop large scale culture monitoring systems across the network
Monitor the efficacy of school-wide routines, procedures, and culture system and create and deliver ongoing professional development to ensure strong roll-out, investment, and execution
Analyze culture data cycles across the network and support leaders across the network in action planning
Manages Time & Tasks Effectively
Displays effective project management, organization, and the ability to prioritize time and tasks
Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines, problem-solve, and work independently
Communicate with All Stakeholders
Employ change management best practices to effectively invest others in implementing new systems and structures
Strong communication, organizational, public relations, and interpersonal skills
Execute Pedagogical Professional Development
Experience coaching instructional staff through modeling and support
Develops Deans of Culture on both desired role outcomes, as well as personal growth measures, to ensure the health of the school and the development of the individual as a leader
Lead Deans of Culture across the network in analyzing culture and climate data for school-wide trends that result in an action plan and data cycle to improve outcomes
Deliver high-quality weekly/monthly professional development to network-based teams that models expectations of high-quality classroom culture, including creating a joy of learning for adults
Ensure a strong cycle of feedback to Deans of Culture, including the implementation of high leverage action steps, regular one on one meetings (O3s), and practice sessions
Mindsets Commits to modeling equity and anti-racism in practice
