Overview
The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day management of digital content across various marketing channels, including social media, website, and email. This involves management of digital asset trafficking, creation, and execution of content/editorial calendars, and working with Business Unit Marketing Managers on creation of digital content.
This individual will also execute the on-page Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategy for each Contec web property using keyword research, competitive benchmarking, and SEO tools to improve overall Google ranking. The Digital Marketing Specialist will also support Search Engine Marketing (SEM), paid social and other digital advertising efforts. The Digital Marketing Specialist will work closely with Marketing Communications, Multimedia, business unit Market Managers and outside partner agencies to execute the Digital Marketing Strategy.
In addition, the Digital Marketing Specialist will synthesize reports from various digital marketing platforms to generate actionable insights for our business units and HR partners. These platforms may include, but are not limited to, HubSpot, Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console (GSC), Google Ads, SEMRUSH, LinkedIn, and the Meta Business Suite.
Responsibilities
Utilizes digital marketing tools to generate custom reports and insights for various business units and department KPIs across website, social media, email marketing and SEM and SEO efforts.
Responsible for on-page SEO optimizations and keyword recommendations for various website properties
Executes creation of digital marketing assets with Marketing Communications, Multimedia and Business Unit Marketing Coordinators, including asset creation training in Canva, Ceros, Photoshop, InDesign where applicable
Develops and manages social media and email marketing editorial calendars in collaboration with content creators; schedules and publishes content in the HubSpot Marketing Hub across various channels including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, email, etc.
Executes day-to-day website content updates in the HubSpot CMS Hub, which may include product updates, blog posts, landing page creation and image and video asset management.
Stays abreast with latest social media and website trends, best practices, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Participates and works within ISO 9001 quality standards guidelines in accordance with Contec's quality goals.

Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's degree (B.A. , B.S.) in Marketing, Communications, or related field from a four-year college or university with three (3) to five (5) years of digital marketing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience in key areas of digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, email marketing, and a thorough understanding of social medial and web analytics (with experience utilizing Google Analytics being a plus) is a required.
Experience with content management systems and marketing automation systems (with experience utilizing HubSpot being a plus) is also required.
Basic understanding of Adobe Photoshop is preferred, with experience in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign being a plus.
