Kelaca is looking for a Development Director for our client partner in Raleigh, NC . As the Development Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading a team of Web Developers in the development, optimization, and maintenance of The Company software. Reporting to the Vice President of Development, this manager will provide strategic, team, and operational leadership.
Key Responsibilities : Ensure the development team exceeds expectations in completing projects successfully while adhering to deadlines. Work with the VP of Development to establish and manage goals and responsibilities for development team. Define and maintain a high bar for team member expectations and enable the team to achieve goals. Monitor performance of team members and provide timely feedback and development assistance. Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate and lead services team members to their optimum performance levels and career development. Build and maintain strong partnerships with key team members in all functional areas across the organization. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that strategy is aligned with business needs. Remain knowledgeable and up to date on The Company's product releases. Skills and Experience : Bachelor's Degree. Experience leading a team and managing direct reports, preferably within the enterprise software or technology industry. Effective leadership and people management skills, inspiring and motivating teams to deliver exceptional results. Proficiency with Object Oriented Programming (OOP). Working knowledge of a combination of the following: C#/.Net, Java, JavaScript, and Angular. Strategic thinking and the ability to align development initiatives with overall company goals.
