Role Responsibilities: 
KPCF's first Development Director has a rare opportunity to use the springboard of an existing financial base to help take an organization with nine years of impactful work to the next level. This professional must have an established background in creating and implementing nonprofit donation strategies. Reporting to the Board through KPCF's Executive Committee, the Development Director will focus on fundraising, donor stewardship and community engagement. The position is part-time (20 hours per week) with a salary range of $3,500 - $5,000. You'll be working in our office in downtown Kirkland, with some flexibility to work remote.
Responsibilities: Working with the Board of Directors to create and implement a fundraising plan.Build and maintain relationships across a wide range of community stakeholders.Generate support materials such as grant applications, marketing collateral, and website content.Build effective systems to drive development that can scale as the organization grows.Communicate regularly with stakeholders via email, social media, and in-person.Work effectively and professionally with colleagues.Understand and fully utilize the ERP system used by the Foundation.Play important role in budgeting process and budget management. Candidate Qualifications: 
Proven work experience in non-profit fundraising, development, or a similar roleOutstanding written and verbal communication skills to connect effectively with donors and other stakeholders across and outside the organization.Ability to work with CRM software to track and report relationship progress.Excellent organizational skills enabling focus on priorities and achievement of goals.A Bachelor's degree in a related field plus two years of relevant experience (preferred) or an A.A./High School Diploma with four years of relevant experienceStrong ties to Kirkland; a strong connection to the city will be critical to your success. Prefer current Kirkland residents.Past success working with a Board of Directors and/or in nonprofit leadership.Strong fundraising, marketing, and public relations experience with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders and cultures.Action-oriented, entrepreneurial, adaptable, and innovative approach to planningAbility to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people.Comfortable with public speaking.Passion, idealism, integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, and self-directed How to Apply Application Contact:
