Data Quality Managers #IN1081
Description
Key Responsibilities:
Manage, develop, and implement programs composed of multiple projects, driving information quality and governance solutions. Set strategic direction for data quality and testing for data deployments and post deployments. Manage resource and budget planning for programs and projects. Develop and implement foundational and operational processes around data quality and integrate and execute processes in support of data quality and complex testing. Deploy and ensure adoption of data quality monitoring tools. Develop, deploy and ensure adoption of improved processes to detect/prevent data quality issues, working closely with relevant stakeholders. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure data quality and end-user adoption. Serve as expert for data quality and governance and manage data exploration steps (binning, pivoting, summarizing, and finding correlations) and ensure business attributes are catalogued to enable data discovery. Ensure the business establishes and enforces guidelines for data collection, integration and processes. Manage data and systems analysis as required to support data governance processes. Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Communicate data quality metrics and improvements to key business stakeholders. Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation. Extract insights from data by identifying relationships and patterns through use of Data Communication and Visualization techniques to understand the underlying structure of the data and enable sound conclusions upon model building. Discover and interpret qualitative and quantitative data using knowledge of Data Analytics to determine conclusions for data driven business decisions.
Skills
Experience and Education:
Positions require a Master's degree in Business or Information Management, Data or Computer Science, or related field and 3 years of experience as a Data Quality or Business Analyst, IT Analyst or Consultant, or related position. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Business or Information Management, Data or Computer Science, or related field and 5 years of experience as a Data Quality or Business Analyst, IT Analyst or Consultant, or related position. Experience to include: Program resource and budget planning; Complex business data analysis; Process Improvement; Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); Data quality and governance; Systems analysis; Data quality metrics; Data Communication and Visualization; Data Modeling; Data Analytics.
