Toys for Trucks, Inc. is an industry leader in the specialty retail business for sales and installation of Car, Truck, Van, SUV and Jeep accessories. JOB DESCRIPTION: As a Data Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all system transactions related to inventory management. You will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure seamless coordination and communication, facilitating efficient inventory control procedures. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Collect, organize, and then migrate incoming data acquired by the company to other departments within the company for use. Perform data entry in relevant systems and portals for items/SKUs including new set-ups, changes, and other required data maintenance activities. Manage inventory through monitoring activities and take action to resolve issues. Oversee the recording and tracking of all system transactions related to inventory, including but not limited to, receiving, shipping, transfers, adjustments, and disposals. Conduct regular audits of inventory records to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures promptly. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including warehouse operations, procurement, finance, and IT, to streamline processes and optimize inventory management workflows. Provide support and training to staff members on inventory management systems and procedures as needed. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES PREFERRED: Knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel. Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision. Tech savvy and ability to learn new software. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends or anomalies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization. Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and precision in data management. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment. EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent Toys For Trucks offers health insurance, life insurance, dental insurance, and a 401(k) with a company match for all of our full-time employees. Additionally, we offer 40 hours of PTO after the first 90 days of employment with 8 hours of sick leave for the first year.
