Responsibilities
• Train teachers on curriculum and best practices• Ensure classroom lesson plans are implemented• Assist with hiring and onboarding of new teachers• Collaborate with Center Director for feedback and solutions• Ensure adequate classroom materials• Develop and track teacher professional development plans• Complete classroom observations and growth plans• Coordinate and facilitate parent/teacher conferences• Plan, coordinate, and assist in summer camp execution• Observe regulatory and company policies in classrooms
Requirements
• Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field• 2-5 years experience as a lead teacher in a licensed childcare facility• Extensive knowledge of curriculum and developmental milestones• Experience in training and evaluating teachers• Working knowledge of state childcare regulations• Meet state requirements for teaching positions
