Your dedication to our core values will make all the difference as we achieve new heights together.About The RoleThe Commercial Fleet Manager will be responsible for the development and oversight of a new and growing multi-brand commercial fleet department for the Mills Automotive Group in Charlotte NC. This position will be responsible for fleet operations and driving commercial fleet success. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the automotive industry, fleet management, and commercial strategies across multiple brands. They will be responsible for managing a growing fleet sales team, developing and implementing commercial plans, working with dealership general management, and fostering relationships with key clients and partners. The Fleet Commercial Manager will play a pivotal role in achieving revenue targets, optimizing fleet performance, building seamless processes, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. Diverse candidates are encouraged to apply!What You Will Do – Essential ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement strategic commercial plans to drive revenue growth and market expansion.Lead and manage a growing fleet sales team, providing guidance, support, and motivation to achieve sales targets.Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the automotive fleet sector, including corporate clients, and other major commercial businessCultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.Collaborate with internal corporate function areas to align commercial strategies with business objectives.Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and threats, adjusting strategies accordingly.Order commercial inventory and be familiar with required stocking levels to ensure meeting market demand and turning inventory properly to prevent aging inventoryOversee the development of pricing strategies, proposals, and contracts to maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the market.Monitor and evaluate fleet performance metrics, including sales performance, customer acquisition, and retention rates, implementing corrective actions as needed.Stay updated on industry regulations, technological advancements, and best practices in automotive fleet management to drive innovation and efficiency.Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and expand business connections.We Invite You To Apply – Key Qualifications & Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.Solid experience in automotive fleet management, commercial sales, EVs, or a related field, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial roleProven record of effectively leading and inspiring a sales team to attain sales goals while delivering exceptional customer serviceStrategic thinker with track record of driving commercial successKnowledge of automotive industry trends, regulations, and best practices in fleet management across multiple brandsCustomer-centric mindset and deep passion to create long-standing account partnershipsHighly collaborative and team-orientedSelf-driven initiative; hardworking; willing to go above and beyond in a rapidly changing & ambiguous environmentStrong desire to execute and identify new ways to push the business forwardStrong verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills; polished appearanceExcellent interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to relentlessly prioritizeAct with urgency and champion excellence in all company objectivesFlexible - available to work weekends, evenings, nights, and holidays as neededProficient in business productivity tools and software (MS Office suite, CRM tools, and retail business systems)Maintain valid/active United States-issued driver's licenseCandidate must be authorized to work in the United StatesWhat We OfferBenefitsCigna PPO, Imagine 360 and HSA plans > 2 medical plan optionsDental and Vision Plans* 401(K)Company Paid Basic Life and Short-term DisabilityEmployee Assistance PlanSick and Vacation Time, Paid HolidaysVoluntary Benefits Include: Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity and Accident InsuranceEmployee Discounts and Perks ProgramEmployee Wellness SubsidyTuition Assistance Program (Selected Dealerships)CompensationSalary + CommissionThe salary you will receive can fluctuate based on several personalized factors, such as the job's geographical location, your expertise, skills, and professional background.
