A day in the life:
As a Cloud Systems Administrator supporting this mission critical project and Integration Team, you will support all of their cloud environments, both classified and unclassified, that are a part of the overall infrastructure footprint.
What you bring to the table:
All of our cloud engineers need the following skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree..Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Oracle, or Google Cloud.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.A TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.For this particular role, you will also need:
20+ years of relevant experience in systems administration and software engineering.Linux system administration and integration experience (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)Cloud services experience (AWS, Azure); services provisioning, management of virtual services, familiarity with vendor Platform as a Service offeringsSystem monitoring and maintenance to include service upgrades, security patching, and IAVA managementTier 1/2 troubleshootingConfiguration management support, familiarity with Puppet/SIMP, Ansible, Salt, ChefFamiliarity with configuration and workflow tools such as GitLab, JiraAWS Solutions Architect Associate or similar.These are important skills to have, but not necessarily mandatory:
