Job summary
EOHHS is seeking to hire an experienced Cloud ArchitectResponsible for supporting EHS wide initiatives with emphasis on cloud architecture, security, and application architectureDesign and develop the technical architecture of MassHealth DWH IT systems and applications
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Document technical architecture and design specifications for end-to-end infrastructure• Design and develop public cloud-based infrastructure Architecture• Consult with business leadership to develop and maintain an architecture design in alignment with business strategy and objectives• Provide mentorship to other technical staff in cloud technologies• Assist in identifying, planning, and migration of on-premises data solutions suitable for migration to the cloud• Evaluate and estimate cloud infrastructure costs• Implement security measures to protect sensitive data stored in the cloud• Monitor and optimize data processing and storage performance with cloud environments• Familiarity with modern data integration techniques• Translate business strategy and project portfolio into short and long-term architectural plans
Requirements
• Five (5) years of enterprise cloud infrastructure architecture related experience• Ten (10) years of information technology related experience• Thorough understanding of modern enterprise architecture and hands-on experience with Enterprise Application frameworks• Proficient experience and hands-on knowledge with Cloud Data Warehouse Architecture• Knowledge of programming/scripting languages such as SQL, Python, C/C#, or PowerShell• Working knowledge of continuous build, unit testing, and integration testing tools• Detailed understanding of public cloud architectural principles and strategies• Understanding of Risk Management, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, IT Security Architecture, and IT Regulatory Compliance• Strong written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills• Ability to rapidly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies
