As a key member of the executive team, the COO will collaborate with other senior leadership to formulate and implement business strategies that support our overall mission and objectives. Responsibilities Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the CEO and other executives to develop strategic plans and set goals for the company. Translate strategies into actionable initiatives that drive operational efficiency and business growth. Operations Management: Direct and oversee day-to-day operations of various departments, including but not limited to production, supply chain, customer service, and administration. Ensure efficient and effective use of resources to meet organizational goals. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate operational processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Implement best practices and initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and enhance productivity. Financial Oversight: Work closely with the CFO to develop and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and optimize resource allocation. Ensure financial stability and accountability throughout the organization. Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership to department heads and managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation. Mentor and develop talent within the organization. Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure operational effectiveness. Regularly assess performance against targets and take corrective actions as needed. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, investors, and regulatory bodies. Represent the company in external meetings and events. Change Management: Lead organizational change initiatives and ensure smooth transitions during periods of growth or transformation. Qualifications Proven experience as a COO, VP of Operations, or similar leadership role in a large organization. Strong background in operational management, business development, and strategic planning. Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence and implement process improvements. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Advanced degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred.
