Job Description:

Avnet is seeking a Chat Support Specialist to join our team in San Diego, California. As a Chat Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service through chat support, addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This part-time position is at the Associate Level and requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:- Provide efficient and accurate responses to customer inquiries via chat support- Resolve customer issues in a timely manner- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team member or department- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times- Conduct research to provide accurate information to customers- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and customer satisfaction- Meet and exceed performance metrics and goals- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies- Assist with other customer service tasks as needed

Requirements:- 2+ years of experience in customer service or chat support- Independent and driven personality traits- Strong communication and problem-solving skills- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment- Strong research and innovation skills- Excellent time management and organizational skills- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and chat support software- High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred
