Job summary
Champion Home Builders is seeking an experienced and reliable construction professional to join the team.The Construction Set Crew Member will participate in all aspects of the construction and assembly of manufactured housing.This position will be based out of Liverpool, PA and travel as needed.
Job seniority: entry level
Responsibilities
• Set (block and level) Manufactured Housing Units (Modular and HUD code homes).• Structurally fasten the units.• Complete the roof closure and shingling.• Close up the exterior mate wall sheathing seams to provide a weather tight product.• Complete interior trim out, finish work, and install skirting.• Maintain company tools and materials.• Inform management of any issues that arise.• Represent Champion Home Builders with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor.
Requirements
• Basic knowledge of materials, methods and tools involved in the construction or repair of houses or buildings• Ability to troubleshoot, reason and solve problems• Ability to communicate in English, both written and verbal• Understand and execute instructions, work safety policies, and procedures• Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel)• Must provide valid driver's license and hold clean driving record• Must be available to work Monday through Saturday• Must pass pre-employment drug screen
