Buyer Franklin, WI Direct Hire $80-95k Bonus Potential *Position is fully onsite *Hours: 8am-5pm or 7am-4pm or 6am-3pm Monday through Friday *Schedulers are also welcome to apply as this could be a hybrid Buyer/Scheduler role Kelly is seeking a Buyer to work with our client in the medical manufacturing industry on a direct hire basis, starting ASAP! This is an excellent opportunity to join an organization that is embarking on an exiting phase of new product development, growth, and innovation!
The Buyer will:
Support manufacturing with scheduling, tracking, reconciling and follow-up to support the Master Build Schedule and company objectives
Execute delivery releases and expedite purchased items to support engineering and other departments
Produce schedules to support production
Monitor raw material deliveries to support the production schedule
Identify inventory shorts and stock positions to help achieve/maintain committed build plans
Create and update purchase orders with accurate delivery dates
Monitor planned vs. actual consumption to help refine standard usage values for consumables
Coordinate vendor returns for damages and non-conforming material
Systematically maintain inventory levels for factory consumables, including office supplies
Build and maintain vendor relationships through constant communication
Reconcile PO quantity and receipt discrepancies
Qualifications:
3+ years of relevant experience as a Buyer, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems such as Oracle
Effective written and verbal communication as well as interpersonal skills
Flexible to change and possess a high degree of integrity and a "can do attitude"
Willing to work in a team environment and contribute to group goals
Strong customer service orientation, acting with urgency and exhibiting keen attention to detail
Able to convert units of measurement (add, subtract multiply and divide)
Ability to receive and provide instructions in a positive manner
