Position Description: Business Analyst
As an ivision Business Analyst, you will leverage your financial, planning, and analysis skills to partner with ivision leaders to understand and improve their financial and operating performance. You will work directly with the CFO on ivision's budget and forecast. You will be a driving force for process improvement across the company. Your work will be used as the basis for setting strategic direction, driving teams to achieve business targets, and further development of our practices and solution offerings.
In this position, you will be responsible for evaluating business processes, identifying needs, and developing strategies to solve our business' toughest challenges. You will work across lines of business and practices to develop and shape businesses insights into a competitive differentiator for ivision and elevate our business intelligence tools to identify solutions that drive business goals.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand business objectives, identify data and analysis needs, and prioritize projects.
• Gather, analyze, and interpret data from various sources using statistical and analytical techniques.
• Translate data insights into actionable recommendations and communicate them effectively to various audiences.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide timely and accurate information to support data-driven decision making.
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality, processes, and systems and propose solutions.
• Partner with Power BI Reporting & Analytics team to maintain data quality within all systems the business utilizes. Coordinate with business owners for report definition.
• Become a subject matter expert (SME) in various systems (Power BI, NetSuite, ServiceNow) with regards to how the data is created, defined, consolidated, and reported.
• Create and maintains internal documentation to define business processes and standards.
• Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data and analytics.
Requirements
• 5 years Finance, Planning, and Analysis experience
• Proficient problem solving and analytical ability
• Exceptionally strong customer service mind-set
• Proactive with excellent work and project planning skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly the ability to synthesize complex issues/scenarios into easy-to-understand concepts
• Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguous situations and across organizational boundaries
• Thoughtful, fast, disciplined execution with a tenacious commitment to continuous improvement
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products, advanced Excel skills
• Familiar with Power BI and NetSuite (or other CRM tool)
• Some travel required
