Job Description:
As a Behavior Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing ongoing supervision and support to adolescent girls residing in a level III group home. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of therapeutic and administrative duties to ensure the well-being and progress of our clients. Key responsibilities include:
Supervision and Support: Provide continuous supervision and support to adolescent girls in a level III group home setting, ensuring their safety and well-being. Accompany Clients: Accompany clients to doctors' appointments and other external appointments as required, providing assistance and support as needed. Facilitate Groups: Facilitate therapeutic groups and activities designed to support the emotional and behavioral needs of adolescent girls. Medication Administration: Administer medication to clients according to prescribed schedules and protocols, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. Documentation: Complete daily notes per shift, documenting observations, interactions, and any significant incidents or developments. Therapeutic Engagement: Engage with clients on their individual goals and objectives through therapeutic techniques such as role play, active listening, and empathy. Requirements:
