Associate Veterinarian, Full-Time or Part-Time Impactful and progressive Animal Control Organization is seeking a veterinarian and team leader to join our medical department. A beautiful clinic, in a fun city and best of all, the position qualifies for the Federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness program. Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission (MADACC) prides itself on its collaborative and positive work environment.
MADACC is a governmental stray animal holding facility serving the 19 municipalities of Milwaukee County. Our full-service clinic provides quality and FEAR FREE care to stray, abandoned and seized animals. With top notch veterinary facilities designed to provide routine care and a large suite for surgical procedures. We do sterilization surgeries for in-house animals and limited public animals when surgical space allows. We do specialty surgeries as required.
Located in West Milwaukee, in the shadow of American Family Field, home of the Milwaukee Brewers, our convenient location just minutes from all Milwaukee has to offer. On your downtime, you can take a quick drive to the areas many restaurants, markets or tiny shops to clear your head and re-energize for the rest of your day.
Engaging workload. Eclectic and hard-working staff. Weekdays only, though occasional community vaccine clinics may require your presence. Prefer 5 eight-hour days but will consider 4 ten-hour days for the right candidate. There will be some phone calls outside of work hours from on-duty medical staff if there is a case they need direction on. No overnight duties.

MADACC is dedicated to ensuring that employees enjoy a work/life balance. Salary commensurate with experience. The general range to start as an Associate is $85,000 - $100,000. Can discuss $25K signing or retention bonus during interview process.
Requirements: Licensed Wisconsin Veterinarian or equivalent (active and clear)
