Salary 100,000 - 115,000 USD per year Requirements: - - Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Controls Engineering degree
- Troubleshooting skills
- Expertise in AutoCad Electrical, Structured Text, CANbus & Ethernet communications
- Mechanical skills
- Experience with Allen-Bradley products and software, writing programs using Ladder Logic, and maintaining schematics/programs for future warranty/repairs
- Knowledge of NEC rules and best practices
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365
Responsibilities: - - Interpret customer requirements and address design parameters and engineering problems
- Commission custom product solutions and systems in house and at customer facilities
- Support the manufacture, build, and validation of systems including pneumatics, hydraulics, servos, variable frequency drives, relays, communication networks, touchscreens, pushbuttons, robotics, and other such integration
- Writing AGV programs in structured text for varying machine designs and applications
- Creating system logic for AGV fleets
- Working with customers to establish AGV communication with the facilities operational system
- Performing startup and diagnostic tests on newly manufactured AGVs before completion
- Assisting in estimating the cost of controls and developing cost-effective designs
- Drawing and reviewing control schematics and implementing shop edits into the final draft
- Writing well-documented and versatile PLC programs
- Assisting in the creation of operation and maintenance manuals related to controls
