Responsibilities
• Process all company payables• Handle vendor and employee AP inquiries• Review and post accounting entries relating to payables• Oversee company request forms and submissions• Ensure timely payment of company payables• Cancel and reissue returned payments• Research and reconcile vendor accounts and outstanding balances• Resolve invoice and payment discrepancies• Maintain files of supporting documentation• Assist in month-end process/journals and complete tax filing requirements• Complete ad-hoc projects relating to accounts payable
Requirements
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience in business, accounting, or finance• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounts payable• Thorough knowledge of applicable systems, procedures, and chart of accounts• Excellent data entry and MS Office skills• Attention to detail and effective communication skills• Strong work ethic, organizational skills, and self-motivation
