ASARCO LLC is a fully integrated miner, smelter, and refinery of copper in the United States with over 2,800 employees spanning across 4 sites in Arizona.We are looking for motivated students with a strong interest in the mining industry. Our internship program is 10 weeks long, in which you will receive important industry training and get involved in meaningful real-world projects like planning a program, designing a process, or implementing technology. The culmination of your program will include an opportunity to present your work to management at ASARCO & Grupo Mexico.Duties:Basic account reconciliations. Reconciling capital component maintenance costs. Reconciling maintenance equipment register to fixed asset records. Data entry and analysis reporting for Royalty Education Requirements:Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university on a full-time basis. Must be a Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Graduate level. Must be majoring in Business Degrees, Accounting, Finance, public administration or related discipline. Knowledge & Skill Requirements:Excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities. Time management skills in performing multiple projects with various team members. Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively present findings and make recommendations.
