Accounting Clerk

Performance Columbus has an immediate opening for an  Accounting Clerk . We are a multi-brand, high-volume automotive dealership group in Central Ohio. 
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a high-paced office environment, with previous automotive accounting experience preferred. And must be able to complete tasks independently and support office management staff as directed.

Make sure payoff checks are cashed. Follow up with banks on payoff lien releases and titles. Apply for duplicate titles when needed. Ensure we have proper paperwork to flip a title into the dealership's name. Process payoff shortage checks. Maintain the payoff schedules. Possess a comprehensive understanding of general ledger accounts and be able to post documents accurately Ability to reconcile accounts and pay sheets Capable of staying organized and work efficiently Previous automotive accounting experience is preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel Be relied upon to work independently Hold a valid drivers license with a good driving record Substance screening is required of all Performance Automotive Network employees
