Position: Financial Auditor
Entry-level accountants welcome!
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85018
Type: Full-Time, hybrid
Salary: From 60,000/year
We are seeking accounting professionals who are interested in public service and operating as accountants and analysts to increase government transparency! Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
What You'll Do:
Collaborate with a team of experienced auditors to conduct comprehensive financial and compliance audits of agencies, counties, universities, and community college districts.
Apply the AICPA's generally accepted auditing standards, the U.S. GAO's Government Auditing Standards, and other federal auditing requirements to ensure adherence to the highest auditing practices.
Up to 10% travel to different out-of-town but in-state locations to perform audits on-site.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate audit findings and recommendations.
Well-developed interpersonal skills to foster positive working relationships with team members and clients.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
Preferred:
SharePoint experience
