Youth Healthcare Institute at Redstone Application 2024 Youth Healthcare Institute Program at Redstone Thanks to generous grant support, Redstone is pleased to once again host a Youth Healthcare Institute for youth ages 13 - 17 . The Institute will be held at the Redstone Greensburg campus the week of June 24th - 28th from 9:00 am to 4 pm (Must also be available June 17th & 19th). Transportation provided for students who need it that reside within the Greensburg-Salem and Jeannette school districts.
Youth ages 13 - 17 will be exposed to a variety of healthcare careers and will complete pre-employment activities so that they will be eligible to participate in a paid internship program (pending availability), or volunteer work during the ******** school year. Four students within the ages of 13 - 15, and four students within the ages 16 -17 will be accepted. Students successfully completing all five days of this upper age track will receive a $150 stipend for their participation.
Students may participate in each track (age level) of the program only once. For example, if a student participates in track one at the age of 13, they will be unable to participate again until they reach the age of 16 and enroll in the upper track.
