Responsibilities
• Review order documents and prepare for accurate product pulling• Drive forklift to load/unload trailers (70% of daily expectations)• Manually sort and stage material in the yard (30% of daily expectations)• Maintain clean and organized yard stock• Accurately load trucks for outgoing shipments• Receive and put away inbound materials• Complete work orders and receiving documents accurately• Pull and prepare orders for shipment• Rotate yard stock and move materials using a forklift• Maintain a clean and safe working environment• Work with team to ensure branch success and provide excellent customer service
Requirements
• 1+ year experience in a warehouse/yard position• Ability to lift/move heavy materials (up to 60lbs) on occasion• Forklift experience (sitdown) highly desired• Basic reading, writing, and math skills required• Ability to work overtime as needed• Experience with building materials a plus
