The Wound Care Nurse, under the supervision of the Director of Nursing works with the nursing staff assessing, treating, and creating care plans for patients with complex wound conditions. Collect, analyze and document information and statistics related to wounds in the facility, as well as perform clinical evaluations. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
Successful candidates will have the following:
Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN in South Carolina Experience as a Wound Nurse (LPN to be wound certified or extensive experience as Wound Nurse) Wound Care Certification preferred Current CPR certification Experience with PCC preferred Must maintain all required continuing education/ licensing and remain in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
