DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Models commitment to Christian character and the Community Covenant standards in behavior and interactions with athletesHelps to set up team devotions and Bible Study opportunities ? Arranges for participation in community service and supports mission trip opportunitiesSupports academic growth and success of student athletes in programRecruits and retains highly skilled student-athletes for the women's soccer teamFinds out if student-athlete is a good fit for the Cornerstone programEvaluates talents and skills of the student-athleteCorrespondence with recruits (e-mail, letters, phone calls, etc…)Develops relationships with student-athletesHost and coordinate recruit visitsDevelops the annual women's soccer scheduleSends out and secures game contractsMaintain good rapport with student-athletesSpends time with each student-athlete on an individual basisLeads the team spiritually through team Bible studyDevelops, monitors and balances the annual budget for the women's soccer programDetermines fiscal requirements and prepares budgetary recommendationsMonitors, verifies and reconciles all expenditures of budgeted fundsOrients and enforces student-athletes' adherence to the policies and regulations of the university and athletic departmentProvides guidance and assistance to student-athletes on a range of personal issues.Selects and supervises assistant coaches and support personnelCoordinates and secures all travel arrangementsPrepares and conducts practicesLeads, monitors and coordinate training and practice sessions, ensuring that all safety guidelines and standards are maintainedPlans and administer the off-season physical training programProvides special training for individual soccer team members as requiredCollects and analyzing tactical and statistical data of opponent teamsDesigns game plans and strategiesCoordinator for Event and FacilitiesGame AdministratorREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Bachelor's Degree. Masters preferred.Successful Experience in coaching collegiate soccer.Success in a collegiate program as either an assistant or head coach preferredGood organizational, communication and coordination skill essentialSkilled in computer applications, especially Microsoft officeAbility to work well under deadlines and high pressure situationsAbility to recruit student-athletes with potential for academic and athletic successESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
