What you'll be doing:

Research and develop Cellcom product offerings and features through in-depth testing of wireless devices and device related technology. Assist with issue resolution related to wireless devices and related technology.

Conduct formalized testing and development of new wireless devices with device vendors. Including but not limited to Samsung, Apple, Motorola, and LG.
Perform Internet of Things(IOT) testing for M2M devices and special projects.
Assist in features and technology upgrades/rollout to verify conformance to the wireless system and quality of customer experience. This involves conformance to and continuous improvement of the established testing and quality assurance methods and procedures.
Maintain an inventory of devices, tools, cables, software and accessories required to perform evaluation, testing, and problem solving.
Troubleshoot appropriate customer issues that are escalated to the engineering team by customer service and tech support.
Create test configurations using electronic test equipment, such as cellular devices, cellular systems analysis tools, signal attenuation controls, & Windows computers, and additional complex software.
Manages own workload, including setting priorities, maintaining quality of work, and planning project deliverables.
Capture log files using multiple systems and tools(Qualcomm PST Tool Suite, OEM specific logging tools)
Other duties as assigned.
What we're looking for:

You need to bring... Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent work experience
Valid Driver's license
It would also be helpful, but not required to have... Up to 2 years of telecommunications or electronics background
A working knowledge of the following technology...
LTE network topology and components (HSS, MME, PGW, SGW, eNODEB, ePDG, IMS)
VOLTE, IMS, and other over the top services and technology
Knowledge of wireless industry standards (3GPP, 3GPP2, GSMA)
Experience programming and scripting (R, Python, powershell)
Device testing and development tools including but not limited to: QXDM, TEMs, QPST, Wireless Metrix
SIM testing and development tools: Card Admin, Trace, Comprion Mini Move)
Troubleshooting of different protocols including but not limited to: TCP/IP, SIP
Analyzing packet data using Wireshark.
Experience with the Android and iOS platforms(ADB, itunes, ect.)
CDMA network components (HLR, AAA, RNC)
Maintain relationships with multiple resources that include but are not limited to OEM's for device, tool vendors, and other industry contacts.
Quality assurance principles and practice.
