In this role you'll be joining Darktrace's Microsoft Infrastructure Team and will be responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining the company's Microsoft based infrastructure (cloud and on-prem) whilst advising and supporting the business on a 3rd line basis.
Key responsibilities include:
Maintain and provide expertise on the Microsoft SaaS, IaaS and on-prem estate
Ensure backup & restore procedures for the company's infrastructure are practiced and adhered-to regularly and company-wide
Assist the development team in their both desktop and server environments; researching and keeping up speed with new technologies.
Advance IT project work by learning and using technologies such as SQL Server, Hyper-V, PowerShell, Exchange Server and more
Work on IT projects that drive forward the adoption of Microsoft Cloud Technologies.
Document and automate repetitive processes so they can be delegated to the 1st and 2nd line teams to help the teams work smarter not harder.
Internalize a security-first mindset and evangelize best practices
Participate in cross team and cross department meetings with opinions, ideas, and suggestions.
Support the user-base as a Microsoft expert
Requirements:
For this role you need to be tenacious, driven and have the following skill set: 5+ years experience as an Infrastructure Engineer
Basic network troubleshooting experience
4-5 years Exchange Server experience
Strong customer service skills
Adaptable
Degree from a leading university
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Salary $125,000-$135,000
