Exp: 8-10 Years
The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Responsibilities:
To utilize mature programming methodologies and languages and adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques while contributing to the technical code documentation
As a senior developer will be responsible for extending the existing platform through custom development, customization and integration with in-house solutions and vendor solutions leading to a complete platform that caters to key business requirements.
Participate in design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations; incorporate security requirements into design; and provide input to information/data flow and understand and comply to Project Life Cycle Methodology in all planning steps.
Adhere to IT Control Policies throughout design, development and testing and incorporate Corporate Architectural Standards into application design specifications
Document the detailed application specifications, translate technical requirements into programmed application modules and develop/Enhance software application modules.
Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications; identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues; and review and provide feedback to the final user documentation.
Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements.
Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint.
Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Banking, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
8-10 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role
Extensive experience system analysis and in programming of software applications
Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development
Experience in Script Design and process automation in infrastructure environment
Extensive experience in infrastructure support
Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
Skills:
Hand on experience in Automation scripting (PowerShell, VBS)
knowledge of .NET framework runtime and library components
Strong Ability to wrap low level vendor APIs (i.e. VerifFone) with DLLs to allow for easy application integration
AD knowledge, Logon Script Knowledge, Strong Scripting with PowerShell, VB script and batch files
Windows 10,11 OS and Application Migration knowledge and experience
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to apply them during business impacting incidents.
Strong understanding and managing of Active directory, groups, policies, and architecture.
Experience in Client, network, and Windows server troubleshooting
Experience in Monitoring, troubleshooting, and proactively recommending upgrades, patches, applications, and equipment.
Explore, Identify, Plan and Deployment of applications in Phased manner.
Coordinating with Application & Infra owners / Security Team as liaison
Advanced TCP/IP communication, COM, ActiveX, DDE, LDAP, Active Directory, Certificate Handling
Working experience in integrating hardware devices from all aspects, security, reliability, and operations
Experienced windows developer with strong production support and troubleshooting capabilities.
Experience in Microsoft technologies, .net framework, C++/C#/vb.net, SDK, Microsoft API, COM development is preferred.
Experience in Angular, Jenkins, CI/CD, Bit Bucket, RDBMS is a plus.
Knowledge of Agile methodology, Jira board.
Knowledge and Administration of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) or HPCA similar Deployment tools
Education:
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
