Experience with making decisions regarding wildfires and prescribed fires in the wilderness is essential.Experience required with Windows, MS WordDuties:Provides fire and climate planning services for the Wilderness and Wild Scenic River Program in the Forest Service Washington Office. Services include, but are not limited to, developing fire and prescribed fire strategic planning and policy direction advice for wilderness.Provides former Forest Supervisor perspective in developing wilderness fire and climate strategy.50%Provides former Forest Supervisor perspective in developing wilderness fire policy direction update.50%Other:Physical requirements: Work does not have any physical requirements. However, work will require sitting for long periods of time in front of computer. Taking breaks, stretching, and resting eyes is suggested.
