Welding Quality Inspector/Grinder

Basin Material Handling (Easley, SC) this position utilizes quality control systems to ensure continuous production consistent with established standards, customer specifications and production goals. This position is also responsible for utilizing an angle grinder for final clean up of steel racks, prior to moving to next process. Successful candidates are expected to comply with the general attendance policies. Successful candidates are expected to comply with all safety policies and procedures. Essential Duties Grind/clean up steel racks at the end of each weld line. Inspect rack for missing welds, dimension accuracy, and part conformance to print. Fill out, audit and enforce the use of inspection check sheets and procedures. Do customer required first piece paperwork. Other duties as assigned. Other Duties Clear and immediate communication to appropriate personnel of necessary concerns related to quality of product and production; providing guidance and support as appropriate. Minimum Experience And Qualifications Education: High School Diploma/GED preferred. Experience: 2 year(s) preferred in Manufacturing. 1 year(s) preferred in Quality Inspection.
