JOB DESCRIPTION Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Welder in Wellford . Our client is a successful tool manufacturing company. The Welder is responsible for accurately and efficiently manual welding of parts and products according to blueprints using fixtures created for each specific item.
JOB REQUIREMENTS OF A WELDER INCLUDE: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Perform precise and efficient manual welding of parts and products in accordance with blueprint specifications, utilizing fixtures tailored to each specific item. Maintain a vigilant focus on both quality and efficiency throughout the production process. Keep meticulous records of parts inventory in designated baskets. Strive for continual improvement in speed, accuracy, and knowledge of the product line. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up the workstation at the beginning of each shift by ensuring tools are plugged in and exhaust hoods are activated. Monitor the functionality of product fixtures during use and promptly communicate any observed changes or suggestions for improvement to the Weld Shop Supervisor. Complete end-of-day procedures, including submitting necessary paperwork, tidying the workstation, unplugging all tools, and shutting off exhaust hoods. REQUIRED Experience and Education: Welding Certification and 1 year experience **For immediate consideration, our Spartanburg Branch can be called at or texted at .
