Responsibilities
• Weld together structural, plate, or miscellaneous steel fabrication• Clean completed weldments of excess weld spatter• Identify shop drawing errors and discrepancies• Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings• Perform and pass a weld qualification test• Communicate effectively internally and externally
Requirements
• Welding experience in GMAW(MIG) and SMAW(STICK)• Preheat and/or cut work pieces using a hand torch• Fabricate sub-assemblies of the overall assembly• Proficiently read a tape measure• Highly skilled in math (Algebra and Geometry)• Eye for detail and pride in work performed• Pass drug test and physical• Undergo background check
