Welder/Fabricators duties may vary based on the department they are in and the item being manufactured in it. Designing, cutting, shaping stainless steel, joining together parts by using either manual or automated welding equipment; repairing or creating new items.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Able to read and interpret blueprints and engineering plans Laying out, cutting, fitting, measuring and welding stainless steel to create the desired shape or object as defined in the blueprints Accuracy in reading a tape measure, caliper, or other tools of measure to ensure appropriate cutting of the stainless steel. High attention to detail and quality Can work independently or within a group Be able to produce high standard of quality welds on a consistent basis Inspection of the item produced and make corrections before sending it off to the next station Be able to meet the physical demands of the position (standing for long periods; bending/ lifting/ holding/ grasping ) Duties vary based on the department;  other duties as deemed necessary To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
