Northwest ADHD Treatment Center is offering an opportunity for exceptional newly licensed Psychologist, LMFT, and LPC professionals who treat children, adolescents, or adults! Our ideal candidates will have generalist psychotherapy and psychodiagnostic experience, and a desire to gain skill in the assessment and treatment of ADHD with an experienced team of providers. We are an interdisciplinary group of psychologists, counselors, and psychiatric nurse practitioners who are passionate about the assessment and treatment of ADHD.
This is currently a telehealth position. In the future, candidates may work from either our Tualatin or East Portland offices.
We treat more than just ADHD! While many of our patients do have ADHD, a substantial portion will have anxiety, adjustment, or mood disorders as comorbidities or stand-alone diagnoses. The ideal clinician must be comfortable and experienced with differential diagnosis and treating common psychological illnesses and concerns such as Major Depressive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, PTSD (trauma), Bipolar Disorder, Adjustment Disorders, and managing stress.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Offer direct psychotherapy services including evaluation, psychological testing, and therapy
Maintenance of appropriate clinical documentation and scheduling within our Electronic Health Record software
Participate in weekly staff meetings and clinical consultation meetings
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Licensed as a Psychologist, Professional Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Oregon (if licensed in a state other than Oregon, must transfer/establish license in Oregon before employment begins)
Paid training to optimize ADHD diagnosis and treatment competencies will be provided to new hires prior to beginning clinical work as needed during the credentialing process.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES & BEHAVIORS:
Experience in assessing the following: ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, substance use disorders, and adjustment disorders
Willingness to engage in consultation with other clinicians
Demonstrates critical thinking skills in problem solving and decision-making
Demonstrates confidentiality regarding information pertaining to all patients and staff
Maintains proper appearance and personal conduct for the employees particular job
Capable of completing clinical documentation within 72 hours after service delivery
Enjoys working in a congenial, team environment
