Weekend Utility Operator

Barrett Petfood is a family owned and operated premium pet food manufacturer. We are currently hiring a Weekend Utility Operator . This position will be responsible for supporting the entire production operation by being cross trained in several positions. 
Responsibilities:  Operate a forklift to stack materials   Use a yard dog to bring in and unload flour trailers  Work with the Meat Room and Mill to ensure product meets specifications  Setup, operate and clean the extruder used for pet food production  Inspect product to ensure it meets customer specifications  Operate the dryer and test product in various stages of manufacturing   Operate the Vertical Cooler  Troubleshoot equipment to ensure product is within specifications  Perform sanitation of equipment and work areas  Required Skills/Abilities:?  Must have forklift experience  Must be mechanically inclined   Ability to lift 60 lbs.  Computer and data entry skills  Follow GMP's and safety protocols  Great trouble-shooting skills  Team effort and great communication skills  Able to stand for prolonged periods of time Attention to detail  Must be mechanically inclined   Hours:  Day: 6am – 6:30pm Saturday & Sunday with 1 weekday shift   Overnight: 6pm – 6:30am Saturday & Sunday with 1 weeknight shift   Work 36 hours and get paid for 40  Benefits:  Company Paid Medical??  Affordable Dental &?Vision?  Life Insurance, Short & Long-Term Disability? 401k with Company Match?? 7 Paid Holidays?  Paid Time Off?  Wellness Program?  Parental Leave?  Free Pet Food?  Opportunities for Advancement!
